Who are you?

Aquametrics was recently founded by two individuals with decades of experience in the industrial water sector around the world. We would be happy to introduce ourselves during an exploratory call. We are based in Luxembourg and France and work in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

What do you cover during an audit?

We carry out the audit across the full water cycle from intake to wastewater, including cooling towers, boiler feed systems, process water and wastewater treatment plant. We typically evaluate asset efficiency and integrity, operating costs, water, energy and chemical consumptions, and hydraulics.

Which sorts of improvements have you come across?

We have come across many improvements opportunities. To name a few:

• Increase recovery rate of Reverse Osmosis systems

• Reduce anti-scalant consumption

• Optimise cleaning cycles

• Build reuse loop

• Reduce chemical consumption for regeneration of demineralization plant

• Reduce pumping costs

• Reduce sludge volume

Why are you proposing a 3 phase approach?

The purpose of the 3 phase approach is to ensure that our clients get value for money. Some sites may already be optimized with limited scope for improvements, others may provide a lot of opportunities. The purpose of the initial phase is to do a fairly short review to identify opportunities, which, if selected by the customers, can be further developed.

What is the duration of the audit?

The initial audit may take a few days to complete depending on the site size and complexity.
